Condolences to Sally Taylor Yocum
and Sarah Luck Schiemann

It has been a very sad April this year for Sarah Luck Schiemann. Her mother died on April 7 and her beloved husband Louis passed away on April 23. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sarah and her family as they cope with their loss. | |
Carl Wick reports: A Florida gathering of WHS 56 graduates was held at Frank and Karen Sensel's beautiful Clearwater Beach condo on February 22, 2010. Attending were 17 classmates and their guests along with two 55 classmates and one who would have graduated from WHS in 1956. Classmates Fred Alban, Dick Allen, Robert (Dick) Bachelor, Bonnie Miller Bauer, Chuck Boorman, Bob Hartman, Barbara Bohn Jerman, Bill Kelly, Jo-Ann Smith Kelly, Nancy Mosher Mally, Sarah Luck Schiemann, Burt Schwab, Frank Sensel, Bill Thissen, Claudette Anelich Welch, Jerry Wellman and Carl Wick attended along with Steve Jerman ('55) and Gary Boucher ('55). Dave Koester, who left Worthington during junior high and graduated from Grosse Pointe HS in Michigan, was there too.

Glenn Williams diagnosed with Leukemia
Word comes from Sue S. that Glenn Williams has been diagnosed with leukemia.. Sue has talked to Glenn and reports that he is in good spirits.
Glenn's chemo treatments are ten days straight and then two weeks off and then ten days again. This regimen will continue until progress is seen. Glenn told Sue that his overall health & physical condition is to his advantage but his age is working against him.
Sue says "he'll welcome greetings and encouragement. Since he has no family left, our connections with him have increased value at this time He would appreciate hearing from us."
