CASE Edward "Eddie" Case, age 69, of Galloway, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2008. He was born on March 6, 1938, at White Cross Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, to Wilbur and Catherine Case, now deceased. Eddie was a Marine Corp veteran and retired from Columbia Gas after 35 years of service. He was a life member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Worthington and an avid model railroader and historian. He enjoyed being with his railroad friends. He belonged to the Columbus HO Model Railroad Club, the Santa Fe Historical and Modeling Society and past member of the PRR Technical and Historical Society. Eddie is survived by his faithful wife, Rae, of 20 years; daughter, Carolyn (Scott) Girberd; son, Paul E.; grandchildren, Mindy and Zac McCann; brother, John; step-children, Margaret (Randy) Campbell, and their daughter, Amanda Fulmer, Susan (Todd) Shafer and their daughter, Vanessa Shafer, and Richard (Kellie) Hatcher and their daughters, Samantha, Taylor, and Allison Hatcher; aunt, Ethel Moody; brothers-in-law; Neil, Jon and Richard Heberling; and many cousins and grandchildren. He also leaves his beloved poodles, Rusty and Charlie. Visitation will be held 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008, with funeral service beginning at 12:30 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Rev. Philip College officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O.
