 | Molly Bell, age 69, of Charlotte, died Saturday, October 20, 2007 in her home. Born May 10, 1938, in Worthington, OH, Molly was the daughter of the late Marcella and Jim Tarbutton. She was the youngest of three children and is survived by her sister, Dona T. Utz and brother-in-law, Robert 'Bob' Utz of New Washington, OH and sister-in-law, Sue Tarbutton of Washington CH, OH. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Tarbutton also of Washington CH.
Molly graduated from Worthington High School and attended Ohio Wesleyan College. Molly was married to F.W. 'Bill' Bell on September 1, 1957. She enjoyed life as a Marine officer's wife for many years in Cherry Point, NC. Upon her husband's completion of military service, they moved to spend the remainder of her years in Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 1992.
Molly was devoted to and is survived by her son, Jim Bell and his wife, Gwen, of Elizabethtown, KY; and daughter, Linda Bell of Charlotte, NC. One of her greatest delights was spending time with her two grandchildren, Ashley and Todd Bell, of Elizabethtown. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who honor her memory.
A memorial service to celebrate Molly's life will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at McEwen Funeral Service - Sharon Memorial Park.
