The Pride of Cardinal Country - Today


The Thomas Worthington High School Marching Band has a long and proud tradition of excellence. For over a decade, "The Pride of Cardinal Country" has performed at the OMEA State Marching Band Finals, achieving Superior Ratings in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2004, and 2005. The Marching Band also performs at all varsity football games and in several parades and events in the Worthington community.

To honor the senior class of 2007, the band's competition show is entitled 007-Bond & Beyond featuring a variety of popular selections including : "Goldeneye," "Goldfinger," "Live and Let die," and "For Your Eyes Only."

The band, performing in Class AA, is under the direction of Mike Maynard and has 151 members.
